These are polarity sensitive meaning must have positive to base center contact and earth to side of base to work, these are polarity protected so if wired in opposite way these simply wont work till powered the correct way, it wont fail the leds
Also suits some Canbus vehicles as globe has built in canbus error cancelling technology
