12v 300mm Flexible Cool White 2w led map reading light with switch

Here we offer a 12v DC 2w LED map light with aluminum flexible arm length of 300mm, ideal for caravan and motor home bedside lights, map light in 4wds etc.

Has a 2 screw hole aluminum base plate for strong attachment to vehicle and has a silicone on/off push switch on head of lamp for easy switching.

Light output is compared to a 20w incandescent globe in cool white colour and has a spread of about 60 degree making them ideal for many purposes.

As unit is LED they are a lot safer as they don't get hot like a halogen globe, so they are alot safer for near beds in the case you fall asleep with it on and you find it resting on curtains or the bed it wont alight the material like a halogen globe would do after being on all night.

LED Map lights you can safely leave on all night even as a night light for the kids and lamp will be cool to touch in morning without the thought of kids burning themselves on a lamp like halogens.

LED map light head is compact and to reduce bulkiness in head of the lamp, the led driver is mounted externally as pictured, as leds only run off about 3.3v they need a led driver- in circuit to reduce the 12v down to the leds specific voltage, if 12v is supplied direct to the map light without the led driver then the led will fail straight away and void any warranty.

Map light has about 1 meter cable with marked wires and led driver is separate with about 1 meter wire, this is so you can mount the map light and only need to drill a small 4mm hole for wires to exit and then can connect the led driver on end of wires after the lamp is mounted, can then connect the led driver to your 12v battery source, wires are marked for easy identification.
