Here we have a remote control and receiver for RGB led strip lighting, this is a IR transmitter so the remote works as line of site, receiver head must be exposed so the transmitter can send signal.
Can use 12v or 24v battery source to the receiver and simply connect the 4 wires of the RGB strip and away you go, you can switch on/off, select colours, fade and brighten light and select other modes for flashing etc.
