Here we have 2 x new merit style sockets with a standard 12mm opening and fitted with a self closing dust cover.
Can be used on either 12v or 24v Applications.
Ideal to fit where you want to ensure the plug and socket cant just simply come away from each other like most cigarette plugs and sockets can disconnect easy,,, with this socket it has a lock in ridge on the inside that when the plug is push in actually locks into each other to hold a perfect connection without coming apart when knocked etc.
Simply has 2 male spade terminals on the rear for a pos and neg connection and if the body of the lamp is earthed already then you dont need to connect a each to the rear terminal, just the positive feed.
